                     Jim Christie & Trey O'Toole
INSTRUCTORS:
Trey O’Toole, brings over 20 years of music instruction & studio production experience to Pulse Drumming. He
has created a private studio experience with a unique multicultural look making students feel right at home. He
has become a unique and sought after musical talent. Versatile as both an educator and performer, he is a
competent player and teacher of many percussive instruments, within a wide variety of genres. Trey has the unique
ability to make learning fun, his students walk away with a sense of pride and accomplishment no matter what their
age or playing abilities. Trey earned his Bachelors Degree of Music in Classical Percussion (with honors); and was
taught from a list of instructors that reads as a who's who in the drumming community. Symphonically, ethnically,
and popularly, rock to ragtime, country to classical, with the ability to teach double bass pedal techniques and more!

Jim Christie, a well know recording artist, teacher and touring band member with Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda
Williams and more. He has recorded with Sara Evans, Norah Jones, Flaco Jimenez and has played
drums/percussion on soundtracks such as Crossing Jordan and the Horse Whisperer to name a few. Recently
taking a break from the long road of touring, Jim is home and sharing his experiences through teaching multiple
drum styles at Pulse Drumming.

Austin Wrinkle, is a unique and versatile percussionist who has studied rhythm and drumming from near and far.
By combining techniques and concepts from many cultures, he has forged a universal approach to playing and
teaching.He is a founding member of the internationally acclaimed percussion group Hands On'Semble, a
percussion group devoted to the art of hand drumming. Hands On'Semble has performed and lectured throughout
the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia at many of the world's premier percussion and world music
festivals. Education: California Institute of the Arts Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music (1998) Master of Fine Arts in Music
(2000).

Students are responsible for all requirements found on the student agreement and a one time initial processing fee
of $15 payable to Pulse Drumming. Your new drumset will be ordered as soon as payment is rendered, no
substitutions (please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery) lessons can begin as soon as scheduled. The 12 lessons can
be, at the discretion of the instructor, halved into 24- 1/2** hr sessions
